OCI N.V. Restarts Ammonia Production Following Fire Incident

OCI N.V. (Euronext: OCI) today announced that after a production stop due to a fire incident in the basement of the Calcium Ammonium Nitrate (CAN) plant of OCI Nitrogen in Geleen, The Netherlands, on 30 September 2015, it has restarted ammonia production. The Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN) and one of the melamine plants are expected to restart production later this week. The CAN plant is not expected to restart in October, but later in the quarter. Most of the damage, including damage to property and loss of business, is insured.
