Zaandam, the Netherlands, May 25, 2015 - Ahold has repurchased 231,000 Ahold common shares in the period from May 18, 2015 up to and including May 22, 2015. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 18.6430 per share for a total consideration of € 4.31 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 26, 2015.
