("HEINEKEN" or the "Company") announced today that it has been approached by SABMiller plc ("SABMiller") regarding a potential acquisition of HEINEKEN. HEINEKEN has consulted with its majority shareholder and concluded that SABMiller's proposal is non-actionable.
