Heijmans today received notice of the Province of Noord-Holland's intent to initiate the pre-award phase for the N23 Provincial Road/Westfrisiaweg project. The pre-award phase precedes the final award phase in which the targeted contractor further specifies and supports his proposal and plans. Final contracting only occurs following to the completion of this phase, after this the final construction costs will be determined.
