Zaandam, the Netherlands, December 2, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 1,209,236 Ahold common shares in the period from November 25, 2013 up to and including November 29, 2013.The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 13.4093 per share for a total consideration of € 16.21 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013 as increased by € 1.5 billion to a total amount of € 2 billion announced on June 4, 2013.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 54,682,005 common shares for a total consideration of € 686.78 million.
