TNT Express NV appoints Martin Sodergard as Group Director Global Networks

Amsterdam, 30 August 2013 - Effective 1 November 2013, Martin Sodergard will join TNT Express as Group Director Global Networks. This is aligned with the reorganisation of senior functional management announced on 25 March 2013 as part of TNT Express’ Deliver! strategy.
Martin Sodergard has extensive experience in international management in the aviation and logistics industries. He previously worked for Swissport Cargo Services in various senior operations positions, most recently as Senior Vice President of Swissport Global Cargo.
Martin began his career at DHL in1986, where he has held many key network-related roles, including Director Hubs & Gateways Europe and Managing Director DHL Network Operations Europe.
“Martin has a strong track record of leading high performing multinational management teams and implementing strategic change,” says Tex Gunning, CEO TNT Express. “He has successfully led key projects in his previous positions and his expertise in operations and driving growth will be a valuable asset.”
