Amsterdam, the Netherlands, April 15, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 1,316,016 Ahold common shares in the period from April 8, 2013 up to and including April 12, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 11.9017 per share for a total consideration of € 15.66 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013.
