Amsterdam, the Netherlands, March 25, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 620,254 Ahold common shares in the period from March 18, 2013 up to and including March 22, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 11.8484 per share for a total consideration of € 7.35 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013.
