Amsterdam, the Netherlands, March 18, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 960,596 Ahold common shares in the period from March 11, 2013 up to and including March 15, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 11.5199 per share for a total consideration of € 11.07 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013.
