Exact Holding N.V. (“Exact”) announces the intention to appoint Mr. Marinus ter Laak (50) as Managing Director Business Solutions and member of Exact’s Board of Managing Directors.
Ter Laak, currently Senior Vice President at IntraLinks, will start in his new position on December 1, 2012. He will be nominated by the Supervisory Board for appointment as Managing Director and member of Exact's Board of Managing Directors (statutair bestuur) at an Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders in January 2013.
Exact Business Solutions is the recently established business unit for on-premise and hosted business software. Ter Laak will be responsible for executing Exact’s strategy, as announced on July 25th, to grow Exact’s market share at large midsize and enterprise companies.
Ter Laak has been working in the IT industry since 1992, starting at NCR where he became Commercial Director responsible for hardware, software and services. After roles as Managing Director of Sequent Computer Systems and then Silicon Graphics, Ter Laak joined SAP AG in 2003. His career at SAP included the roles Managing Director for SAP the Netherlands, Senior Vice President for EMEA Mature Markets, and most recently Senior Vice President Business Analytics & Technology for EMEA and India.
