ShalkiyaZinc N.V. (LSE: SKZ) ("ShalkiyaZinc") announces a delay in the publication of interim accounts for the six months ended 30 June 2012 (the "Interim Accounts").
The delay is caused by the fact that the delayed 2011 Annual Report has been completed and published on 27 June 2012. Accordingly, ShalkiyaZinc expects to publish the Interim Accounts as soon as possible. Pending publication of the Interim Accounts, certain information concerning financial position and results of operation of ShalkiyaZinc as at 31 December 2011, can be obtained from 2011 Annual Report, which is available on ShalkiyaZinc's website at www.zinc.kz
