Imtech further strengthens and diversifies its long term funding structure

Gouda - Royal Imtech N.V. (IM-AE, technical services provider in and outside Europe) announces that it has signed a second private placement for a total of EUR 100 million. The senior notes have been issued in maturities of 7 and 9 years.
Boudewijn Gerner, CFO Imtech: 'Our funding policy is to strengthen and diversify our funding sources. The extension of the maturities of our loan portfolio is also a part of this funding strategy. In November 2011 Imtech negotiated its first private placement amounting to USD 300 million in different currencies and with maturities of 5 up to 12 years.
By means of this second private placement, Imtech has taken a further step in diversifying its funding sources and underlines confidence in Imtech's long term strategy.
Imtech has used the proceeds to refinance existing debt. The issue consists of 2 tranches of EUR 50 million each with 7 and 9 years maturities respectively. The notes have been issued by Imtech Capital B.V. and are guaranteed by Royal Imtech N.V. Imtech Capital B.V. is a wholly-owned finance subsidiary of Royal Imtech N.V.
