Vimetco NV (LSE: VICO), the global producer of primary and processed aluminium products, today announces it finalized the bidding process for the construction of its own power plant in Tulcea. The project is developed by Vimetco Power Romania, a company belonging to Vimetco Group and consists of building a power cogeneration plant of 250 MW at Alum Tulcea with the financial support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and commercial banks.
