Gerrit Witzel, Chairman of the Heijmans Executive Board is not available for a new appointment term. The Supervisory Board has decided to appoint Bert van der Els as his successor following the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders to be held on 18 April 2012. Van der Els is currently Vice Chairman of the Executive Board.
Gerrit Witzel will step down from the Executive Board effective 30 September 2012. At the request of the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board he will continue to be associated with the company as advisor.
