MEI-Fondsenbeheer B.V. (MFB) is pleased to announce that Palmer Capital Investments GmbH (PCI), Munich and the shareholders of MFB’s parent company Middle Europe Investments N.V. (MEI) have signed a share purchase agreement. PCI will acquire 100% of the MEI shareholders equity. Parties expect the transaction to be completed by the end of January 2012. PCI will install its own management in Deventer and Prague alongside Drs. Peter H.J. Mars (currently director of MFB) who will join the Board of MEI. Mr. Dr. R.E. De Rooy and Drs. Ing. P.H.M. Winkelman will resign from MEI. The transaction is subject to approval by the Dutch Regulatory Authorities (AFM).
PCI considers the acquisition of MEI as an essential module in its strategy to expand its continental European investment business in real estate, private- and listed equity. More information on PCI is to be found on www. palmercapital.co.uk and www.palmercapital.eu
