Heijmans' subsidiary Burgers Ergon was contracted by BAM Non-residential Building to install the electrical engineering, mechanical engineering and sprinkler systems in support of the redevelopment of the Roeterseiland educational complex in Buildings A and B/C of the University of Amsterdam. The total contract is valued at over € 21 million. Burgers Ergon will assume responsibility for the supply and assembly of the systems, as well as their delivery in an operational state. The project is divided into phases. The first phase is scheduled for completion in November 2013, the second in 2015.
