Signing a Loan Agreement with the EBRD

The Board of Directors of ASTARTA Holding N.V. (the "Company") hereby announces that on August 15, 2011, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has signed a Loan agreement to provide financing to LLC Firm "Astarta-Kyiv", an indirect subsidiary of ASTARTA Holding N.V.
The proceeds of the loan will be utilized to consolidate the existed EBRD loans and to facilitate further dynamic development of agricultural, diary and sugar business segments. It will enable increased business diversification and vertical integration, as well as more simple credit portfolio management.
The financing in amount of up to USD 60 mln. would comprise a secured long term loan for 7 years with 18 month grace period.
This is the fourth EBRD's project with ASTARTA. Three previous loan agreements were signed in 2008, 2009 and 2010 respectively.
