CSM announces issue stock dividend

CSM nv announces that 1,660,565 shares have been issued as a result of issuing its stock dividend. The conversion factor of 1/27 per CSM share was calculated on the basis of the volume weighted average share price (€ 24.68) on 19, 20 and 23 May 2010.
As was announced on 3 May 2011, the dividend has been set at € 0.90 per common share. Shareholders were offered the option to take their dividend in cash or as a stock dividend. The cash dividend and stock dividend have been distributed to shareholders on 26 May 2010.
Payment in shares qualifies as the exception of Article 5:4 sub (e) to the prospectus obligation set out in Article 5:2 of the Act on Financial Supervision (Wet op het financieel toezicht, Wft).
