Heijmans has decided to limit the use of timber in all new projects exclusively to sustainable timber. This decision also applies to projects where this is not a prescribed requirement. The additional costs for this are absorbed by Heijmans. The timber used is FSC or PEFC (MTCC excluded) certified. This way, Heijmans confirms its leading role in the sector to encourage the use of sustainable materials and promote quality.
