Amsterdam, the Netherlands, May 2, 2011 - Ahold has repurchased 209,126 Ahold common shares in the period from April 25, 2011 up to and including April 29, 2011.
The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.4428 per share for a total consideration of € 1.98 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 1 billion share buyback program announced on March 3, 2011.
