TIE and Newco Food Retail enter into partnership

TIE Holding N.V. (“TIE”) announced that TIE and Newco Food Retail N.V. (“NFR”) have entered into a strategic partnership to develop and market an innovative product suite for online food retail. The partners will co-develop a new generation of E-commerce solutions for fresh food including personalized food management tools build on TIE’s state-of-the-art E-commerce solution.
After 6 months of development and testing of the website CulinaireVersmarkt.nl, TIE and NFR have taken the next step towards a fruitful partnership. Part of the agreement is a 2 year SaaS-contract with a total value amounting to EUR 250k.
NFR has developed a very powerful vision and unique worldwide concept for online food retail shops in line with CulinaireVersmarkt.nl. NFR would like to share the knowledge obtained in operating and developing online food retail shops in order to be able to keep on investing in stat-of-the-art technology. Along with IT knowledge their knowledge consists of specialized food content management and integration of logistics service concepts. The aim is to work with both national and international food retail organizations, making use of TIE’s E-commerce technology and knowledge on Total Integrated E-commerce solutions and system integration services.
