Amsterdam, 22 April 2011 --- AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group N.V. ("AMG," EURONEXT AMSTERDAM: "AMG"), in connection with Earth Day 2011, has installed a state-of-the-art, demonstration solar photovoltaic system at AMG Vanadium, Inc.'s spent catalyst recycling facility in Ohio, USA. The solar panels used in this installation feature Timminco Limited's Upgraded Metallurgical Silicon ("UMG-Si") and will produce approximately 230,000 kilowatt-hours of power-the amount of electricity consumed by approximately 20-25 homes for a year.
