• Resulting in a stake of approximately 43% in Delta Lloyd Group
Delta Lloyd NV ("Delta Lloyd") hereby announces that its major shareholder, Aviva plc ("Aviva"), announced today that it intends to reduce its majority stake in Delta Lloyd Group. This decision is in line with Delta Lloyd Group's wish for greater strategic and financial independence from Aviva. It also accords with the strategy of Aviva, which it had announced at the time of Delta Lloyd Group's initial public offering in November 2009.
