Amsterdam, the Netherlands - February, 21, 2011 - Ahold has repurchased 1,031,057 Ahold common shares in the period from February, 14, 2011 up to and including February, 18, 2011. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 9.7851 per share for a total consideration of € 10.09 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 49,466,711 common shares for a total consideration of € 491.2 million.
