Zeewolde, the Netherlands, 5 January 2011 - Spyker Cars N.V. ("Spyker"), manufacturer of premium automobiles under the Saab and Spyker brands, announces the appointment of Mr. Rob Schuijt as Senior Vice President Corporate Development of Spyker.
The management team of Spyker is strengthened by the appointment of Mr. Rob Schuijt as Senior Vice President Corporate Development. Mr. Schuijt will be responsible for Group Strategy, Business Development and alliances and will work closely with the management team at Saab to implement the Saab business plan and improve performance. Previously a partner at consulting firm Booz Allen & Hamilton (now Booz & Company) and an independent advisor (including to Spyker on its recent acquisition of Saab, where he was a key member of the transaction team), Mr. Schuijt has extensive experience in performance improvement and strategy development for businesses that operate globally.
