Draka Holding N.V. ("Draka") has noted today's press release by Prysmian S.p.A. ("Prysmian") in which Prysmian announces the convocation of an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on 24 January 2011 and in which Prysmian confirms certainty of funds in relation to the intended offer for all outstanding shares in Draka. In anticipation of the actual offer by Prysmian, Draka announces today that it has convened an extraordinary shareholders' meeting to be held on 26 January 2011, pursuant to public offer regulations.
