Amsterdam, the Netherlands - Ahold has repurchased 682,426 Ahold common shares in the period from April, 6, 2010 up to and including April, 9, 2010.
The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 10.1749 per share for a total consideration of € 6.94 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on March 4, 2010.
