BOARD OF DIRECTORS ACCEPTS THE RESIGNATION OF PETER CROOK AS INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE CHAIRMAN JAMES GILLIGAN APPOINTED AS INDEPENDENT NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
St Peter Port, Guernsey - 15 March 2010 - The Board of Volta Finance Limited (Euronext: VTA) today announces that at its meeting held on 10 March 2010, Volta Finance Limited's Board of Directors unanimously agreed to accepted Peter Crook's notice of resignation as independent non-executive Chairman of the Board effective from 30 April 2010 and to appoint James Gilligan as an independent non-executive director with immediate effect. This appointment will be placed on the agenda for shareholder approval at the next Annual General Meeting.
