Eurocastle Secures Facility Term Extension

Guernsey. 5 February 2010 - Eurocastle Investment Limited (Euronext Amsterdam:
ECT) today announced that it had successfully completed extension negotiations
in relation to an outstanding \x8020 million recourse obligation. The lender under
this obligation had confirmed its agreement to convert this short term
obligation into a loan facility maturing in September 2010. The facility
amortised by \x805 million on 1 February 2010 and amortises by a further \x805 million
in March and June with a final \x805 million payment at maturity in September 2010.
