Beter Bed Holding N.V. realised revenue totalling € 92.2 million in the first quarter of 2009. This constitutes a 3.9% decrease in comparison to the first quarter of 2008 when revenue totalled € 96.0 million. Net profit amounted to € 5.4 million in the first quarter of 2009. This was higher than the earlier forecast of the company of over € 4 million. The net profit in the first quarter of 2008 amounted to € 7,9 million. The reduction in net profit is attributable to the lower level of revenue.
