Volkswagen is in negotiation with Mubadala Development Company and the Olayan Group to acquire their individual 25% stakes in LeasePlan Corporation N.V., following the exercising of a put option by Mubadala and Olayan. Volkswagen hopes to take over the shares beginning of 2010.
