Almere, the Netherlands, 23 December 2008 - USG People announces that the company's shareholders have voted in favour of the proposed amendment to the articles of association during today's extraordinary general meeting of shareholders. This amendment to the articles of association was proposed by the Executive Board and Supervisory Board to provide for the introduction of protective preference shares.
