Today LeasePlan Corporation N.V. and its subsidiary LeasePlan France S.A.S. (LPFR) announced an agreement with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services S.A. (DCFS) to purchase its subsidiary Daimler Chrysler Fleet Management France S.A.S. which operates under the brand name DCS Fleet. DCS Fleet is active in operational leasing and currently manages a fleet of approximately 20,000 vehicles. With this acquisition LPFR further strengthens its position as one of the top players in the French multi-brand operational leasing market with a managed fleet well above 100,000 vehicles. LeasePlan is the European market leader in fleet and vehicle management.
