OctoPlus N.V. (“OctoPlus” or the “Company”) (Euronext: OCTO), the drug delivery and development company, announces today that it has withdrawn its follow-on financing due to poor stock market conditions. The Company will continue to keep a close watch on the capital markets and is evaluating its financing alternatives.
Joost Holthuis, Chief Executive Officer of OctoPlus, said, “Market conditions have deteriorated in such a way that it is no longer feasible for us to complete a successful financing under the terms we envisaged. We remain fully confident that our versatile drug delivery technology allowing for multiple product candidates will enable a successful future for OctoPlus.”
