Zeewolde, 26 October 2007 - Spyker Cars N.V., manufacturer of exclusive premium sports cars, clarifies the statement of Hans Hugenholtz, CEO ad interim, on the expected sales volume for the fourth quarter 2007, as reported by Betten Beurs Media earlier today.
Mr Hugenholtz stated that Spyker Cars N.V. aims to exceed the sales number of seven sports cars as realized during the third quarter of 2007 and that he is hopeful that Spyker Cars N.V. will be able to accomplish that.
The number of twenty sports cars is merely an indicative number. The realization of such a sales number in Q4 2007 will depend on the successful completion of Spyker Cars N.V.’s refinancing operation.
As previously stated by the management and Supervisory Board, Spyker Cars N.V. will not present an outlook for the year 2007 nor present the details of the renewed strategy until such time as the refinancing has successfully been completed.
