SNS REAAL has closed the acquisition of AXA Nederland B.V. (‘AXA NL’), Winterthur Verzekeringen Holding B.V.(‘Winterthur NL’) and DBV Holding N.V. (‘DBV NL’), together referred to as ‘AXA NL Combined’, after obtaining all relevant regulatory approvals and advice from the works councils. The acquisition of AXA NL Combined was previously announced on 4 June 2007, with the expectation that the closing would occur before year end 2007.
