Zeewolde, 4 July 2007 - Spyker Cars N.V., Formula One constructor and manufacturer of exclusive premium sports cars, states the following in reaction to an article in De Pers of this morning about its alleged plans to delist from Eurolist by Euronext Amsterdam.
In May 2007 Spyker Cars N.V. started a strategic review. The outcome of this review will be the basis for its future refinancing operation. Spyker Cars N.V. anticipates to complete its refinancing by the end of the third quarter 2007.
In the light of its strategic review, Spyker Cars N.V. studies a variety of options for its future strategy. Under the various scenarios the company is studying at the moment, a delisting might be a consequence. At this moment Spyker Cars N.V. has no concrete plans for a delisting from the Amsterdam Stock Exchange. Finding itself in a very early phase of the review process, it is too early for Spyker Cars N.V. to anticipate on the outcome of the strategic review and its refinancing operation.
