Halifax, Nova Scotia, June 13, 2007– Homburg Invest Inc. (“Homburg”) announced today that it has closed its previously announced offering of 36,200,000 subscription receipts at a price of $5.25 per subscription receipt (the “Subscription Receipts”) for gross proceeds of $190,050,000 to a syndicate of underwriters was led by BMO Capital Markets (the “Underwriters”). Homburg has granted the Underwriters an option to acquire up to 5,430,000 additional Subscription Receipts, which is exercisable at any time during the next 30 days.
