Ballast Nedam to build new headquarters for PGGM in Zeist

Ballast Nedam and the pension fund PGGM signed a contract on Tuesday 8 May for construction of PGGM’s new headquarters in the city of Zeist.
The new office building will feature 50,000 m2 of floor space and an underground car park on three levels with space for 1,200 cars. Construction will begin immediately following the summer holidays. The building will be completed in mid-2010. Total building costs are 54 million euros.
Marta Cervelló is the architect. She is an associate of MAP Arquitectos SL of Barcelona. The Rotterdam engineering firm Zonneveld will consult on the structural design. The Special Projects division of Ballast Nedam Bouw in Nieuwegein is the project’s primary contractor.
