Halifax, February 14, 2007 – Homburg Invest Inc. (“Homburg”) (TSX: HII.A & HII.B and AEX:HII) announced today that it intends to make an all cash offer to acquire all the issued and outstanding units of Alexis Nihon Real Estate Investment Trust (“Alexis Nihon”) that it does not already own (including all Alexis Nihon units issued upon the exercise of options to purchase units or the conversion of debentures into units) at a price of C$18.50 per unit. Homburg currently owns 5,274,539 Alexis Nihon units representing approximately 19.5% of the outstanding units.
