? L easePlan Corporation recorded a net profit of EUR 98.4 million for the first half-year of 2006 (+11% vs. first half-year of 2005).
? LeasePlan’s core business develops favourably, including the acquisition of three Europcar Fleet Services entities in September 2005, which had a positive impact on the net earnings. Integration of these businesses in LeasePlan operations is progressing smoothly.
? The assessment of non-core business resulted in the divestments of QEK Benelux and Keddy Rental in Belgium and to the proposed divestment of the MOX business.
? The outlook for the remainder of 2006 is positive. LeasePlan Corporation expects the full year 2006 Profit for the period to exceed the comparable 2005 Profit for the period.
