Amsterdam, December 20, 2005 - Further to the share buyback program announced on 6 December 2005, TNT N.V. announces that:
• on December 19, 2005, it purchased 486,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of Euro 25.4509 per share,
• during the period from December 6, 2005 until and including December 19, 2005, it purchased 6,742,000 TNT N.V. ordinary shares at an average price of Euro 25.4929 per share, and
• the total amount of the share buyback until and including December 19, 2005 therefore amounts to 17.2% of the announced Euro 1 billion.
It is TNT's intention to cancel the repurchased shares.
