NIBCapital sells 56% stake in Harcourt to Vontobel Group
NIBCapital announces today that Vontobel Holding AG (“Vontobel), a Zurich-based asset manager, is to acquire the 56% NIBCapital stake in Harcourt Investment Consulting (“Harcourt”). Harcourt is a recognised provider of multi-hedge fund solutions to international clients and will become the centre of competence for hedge funds for Vontobel.
The addition of Harcourt to Vontobel is part of Vontobel’s plans to expand in the fast growing alternative investments arena. It broadens Vontobel’s product offering and strengthens its existing specialist investments capabilities.
NIBCapital decided to sell its stake for strategic reasons.
