The Supervisory Board of Delta Lloyd plans to appoint Leon van Riet (51) as member of the Executive Board. The Supervisory Board will announce the planned appointment of Leon van Riet to the shareholders at the General Meeting of Shareholders on 19 May 2016, which will be followed by the formal appointment. Leon van Riet is to succeed Onno Verstegen, who resigned as member of the Executive Board on 1 February 2016. The Dutch Central Bank (DNB) and the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) have approved the planned appointment. Leon van Riet will start his duties on 1 March 2016.
