Zaandam, the Netherlands, May 11, 2015 - Ahold has repurchased 232,500 Ahold common shares in the period from May 4, 2015 up to and including May 8, 2015. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 16.9721 per share for a total consideration of € 3.95 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 26, 2015.
The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 4,702,640 common shares for a total consideration of € 85.71 million.
