Zaandam, the Netherlands, November 3, 2014 - Ahold has repurchased 196,490 Ahold common shares in the period from October 27, 2014 up to and including October 31, 2014. The shares were repurchased at an average price of €13.0348 per share for a total consideration of €2.56 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013 as increased by €1.5 billion to a total amount of €2 billion announced on June 4, 2013.
