September 24, 2014 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the world's leading natural and built asset design and consultancy firm, announced today that the Consortium ARCADIS Logos-Ausenco has been chosen by Ferrous Resources do Brasil to deliver engineering, procurement and construction management (EPCM) consulting services for the expansion of the Viga iron ore project in Brazil. Ferrous will invest US$1.28 billion to achieve a capacity of 15 million tons of pellet feed per year at the Viga Mine by the end of 2017. The contract with Ferrous is valued at more than US$60 million for 41 months. ARCADIS leads the consortium and is expected to perform 60% of the work.
