Nord Gold N.V. , an internationally diversified pure-play gold producer, is pleased to announce that it has completed the acquisition of 12,777,777 newly issued common shares (the “Common Shares”) of Northquest Ltd. (TSX-V:NQ) and warrants to acquire up to an additional 6,388,889 Common Shares in two tranches through a non-brokered private placement. The transaction gives Nordgold a 22.6% holding in Northquest (on a non-diluted basis).
