Heijmans has reached agreement with the municipality of The Hague and Leiden University concerning the transformation of the former ministries of Justice and Home Affairs buildings in The Hague. The buildings along the Turfmarkt/Schedeldoekshaven will be redeveloped in several phases into a multifunctional reinforcement of The Hague's city centre. Leiden University's 'The Hague Campus' is with one of her locations part of this development. Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance is planning to acquire 132 of the 170 apartments for some pension funds. The first phase of this area development contract is valued at approximately € 65 million.
