Amsterdam, the Netherlands, May 27, 2013 - Ahold has repurchased 803,242 Ahold common shares in the period from May 20, 2013 up to and including May 24, 2013. The shares were repurchased at an average price of € 12.5785 per share for a total consideration of € 10.10 million. These repurchases were made as part of the € 500 million share buyback program announced on February 28, 2013.
